Privacy Policy
Effective September 2026. What BuyPass collects from business users, why we collect it, and how to reach us about access or deletion.
Plain version: we collect business contact details, what you type into a deal check, the process-level buyer paths you contribute, and normal usage and technical data. We use it to run the product and to build de-identified buyer-path benchmarks. We do not sell personal information. See also our Terms of Service.
1. A business-use product
BuyPass is sold to and used by companies. We collect information about business users acting in a professional capacity. We do not want, and ask you not to submit, consumer personal data or personal contact details of individual buyers.
2. What we collect
- Account and contact information: full name, business email, role or title, company name and company website.
- Deal-check inputs: the company, product, deal size, stage, target date and process questions you enter when running an inspection.
- Contribution and debrief information: the process-level answers you submit about how a deal moved through a buying organization.
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, checks run, credits earned and spent.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and error and performance logs.
3. What we do not want
Do not submit confidential or NDA-covered material, internal documents or emails, private pricing, named buyer contacts, security findings, trade secrets, or regulated or sensitive personal data. If you send it to us anyway, we may delete it.
4. How we use information
- Provide deal inspections, buyer-path maps, mutual action plans and other product features.
- Operate accounts, credits, unlocks and team invitations.
- Provide support and respond to your requests.
- Improve product quality, model performance, safety and reliability.
- Build aggregated, anonymized and de-identified buyer-path intelligence and benchmarks.
- Contact business users about the product, their account, and relevant commercial information.
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents, and meet legal obligations.
5. We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Benchmarks and buyer-path intelligence we publish or ship in the product are aggregated and de-identified so they do not identify you, your employer or any buyer.
6. Service providers
We use vendors to run the service, including hosting and infrastructure, database and storage, authentication, analytics and error monitoring, email delivery, and AI model providers that process deal-check inputs to generate output. Providers are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.
7. Retention
We keep account and usage information for as long as your account is active and as needed for legitimate business, security and legal purposes. Aggregated and de-identified information may be kept indefinitely because it no longer identifies anyone.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Your choices and requests
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your information, or to unsubscribe from product email, by writing to privacy@buypass.io. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. Deleting your account does not require us to unwind aggregated, de-identified data that no longer identifies you.
10. International users
The service is operated from the United States, and information may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. By using BuyPass you understand information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
